Buggy
Catan is a great board game and it’s a shame that this computer version is so buggy and has poor attantion to detail. I feel like the folks who made the game never played either the board game nor the game they wrote.
Right out of the gate it doesn’t save any of your settings. EVERY time you start a new game you have to reset the users, resize windows, etc. Consequently statistics are out of whack unless you rename yourself exactly the same way every time. The game freezes randomly requiring a close and reopen. I’ve had numerous game where the end of game stats summaries were completely wrong (claiming I hadn’t been robbed at all, yet I was robbed many many times, for example). In general the whole thing implements modern GUI standards very badly.
The rules of game play seem to flow correctly and the dice rolling is largely the proper curve over time.
